Ghanaians from all walks of life have since Monday thronged the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi to pay their last respects to the late Queen-mother of the Asante Kingdom, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II.
The four-day burial rites for the late Queen has seen top Ghanaian personalities like the Clergies, Politicians and Security Officers attending the funeral.
Other movie stars including, Kwadwo Nkansah also known as Liwin, Bruwaa, Emelia Brobbey, Bill Asamoah, Nana Ama McBrown also joined Asanteman to mourn the loss of the late Asantehemaa, Afia Kobi Ampem II.
Mourners were allowed to file past the remains of the late Queen mother who was laid in state since yesterday.
The official mourning cloth for the funeral rite remains black and in accordance with customs female who wants to file past the remains of the late Queen mother must do so barefooted with neither headbands nor scarves, ear rings nor bracelets.
The remains of the late Queen mother will be laid on Thursday night at the Breman Toyal Mausoleum (Ban mu) after a brief stopover at the Bantama Royal Mausoleum (Ban mu) where some traditional rites will be performed.
